Rift Lake Vital is used in establishing a natural water environment for the species of hard water cichlids. Hard water reefs have a need for certain light and hard water conditions beyond that of tap water or sometimes the existing reef water has gone out of balance.

Rift Lake Vital will preserve hydrogen ion concentrations as needed in the aquarium following application specifications helping to resist change in pH.
