| The famed SP3000 brought peristaltic pumps to the masses by offering reliable slow-flow consistency in an economical package. Now standard issue with our Calcium Reactors and Nitrate Reductors, these pumps excel in applications where you need low flow rates. The SP3000 runs at 20 rpm and delivers a maximum of 0.8 gallons per hour.
For those times when less is more you can now choose the SP1500, the 10 rpm 0.4 gallons per hour alternative. These have been featured in our Reef Doser line of controlled dosing systems and should be perfect for those installations that require an extra measure of precision.
SP 3000 Dosing Pump Tips and Tricks:
- Whenever valving back the flow of your SP-3000, place the valve on the inlet side of dosing pump.
- Using the included one-way check valve (always on the suction side) ensures positive progress of the fluid through the top-off system while eliminating back-siphoning.
- Replace the persitaltic tube periodically, depending on severity of duty, to maintain performance.
