Overall Rating:  | The Super Skimmer Air-Injection unit is a high-performance foam fractionator designed with a venturi system. The venturi system draws air into the reaction chamber where it is diffused into bubbles and mixed with water. As the bubbles rise, their surface areas attract and collect fine proteins and organic compounds before they break down in the water and are then deposited into the collection cup. The efficient removal of highly-concentrated waste products results in a better environment for the aquarium.

The Coralife Super Skimmer is an entry/mid level skimmer and will be powerful enough for most reef aquariums. The manufacture suggests models rated for 65, 125 and 220 gallons, but they are best used on 40, 75, 125 gallon tanks.
