Anemone (RADIANTHYS)

Overall Rating:

Natures Image is proud to present our line of artificial corals. The corals that are represented here are exact replicas of those that occur on coral reefs around the world. By purchasing this coral replica you are aiding in the conservation and awareness of the coral reef environment worldwide.

Our beautiful renditions can be found in many public aquariums and private collections around the world where dead coral skeletons are no longer used.

Following are a few facts about the care and maintenance of our coral replicas which will add to your enjoyment of theirbeauty.

Made of special high-grade polyurethane, they are completely safe for the livestock and water quality in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.

These coral replicas can be placed in the aquarium immediately, there is no curing time. However, we strongly advise a thorough fresh water rinse (with cool water, not hot) to wash away any residue from the molding process that is left behind. If you have a protein skimmer and the piece is not rinsed thoroughly you may find that the skimmer will become over active for a short time to remove the residue but this will not harm the aquatic life in your tank.

Review:
This is part of the decoration in my 180 gal. aquarium. It seems to be a favorite of people who stop by, but it is too small, I think, to host any fish. It is very rubbery and moves slightly with the current. It is a nice addition, providing some variety in the tank, and contrasts nicely with the more spiny-looking Nature's Image corals.
